Arrive in Amritsar – Five Sarovar Darshan

Arrive at Amritsar Railway Station, where our representative will meet and greet you and transfer you to your hotel.

After check-in and some time to relax, begin your Five Sarovar Darshan in Amritsar—a spiritual and heritage journey covering the city's five historic sarovars: Amrit Sarovar, Santokhsar, Ramsar, Kaulsar, and Bibeksar. The SGPC lists these historic sarovars with the traditional dates 1586, 1587–88, 1602–03, 1627, and 1628, respectively.

Begin your visit with Sri Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple), the central religious place of the Sikhs. It stands in the middle of Amrit Sarovar, from which Amritsar derives its name. According to the Government of Punjab, the development of Amrit Sarovar was begun under Guru Ram Das Ji and completed by his successor, Guru Arjan Dev Ji, who established Sri Harmandir Sahib in its midst. The foundation of Sri Harmandir Sahib was laid in 1588, and the Adi Granth was ceremonially installed here in 1604, with Baba Buddha Ji appointed as its first Granthi.

Next, visit Gurdwara Santokhsar Sahib, one of Amritsar's five historic sarovars. The SGPC dates Santokhsar to 1587–88. The site forms an important part of the historic Sikh landscape of Amritsar.

Continue to Gurdwara Ramsar Sahib, situated beside Ramsar Sarovar. Ramsar is one of Amritsar's five historic sarovars, and the SGPC dates it to 1602–03. The site is associated with the period of Guru Arjan Dev Ji and forms an important part of Amritsar's historic Sikh heritage.

Afternoon – Kaulsar and Bibeksar Sarovars

In the afternoon, visit Kaulsar Sarovar, located near Gurdwara Mata Kaulan Sahib and close to Gurdwara Baba Atal Sahib and Sri Harmandir Sahib. Kaulsar is one of Amritsar's five historic sarovars, and the SGPC dates it to 1627. The site is associated with Bibi Kaulan Ji and is an important part of Amritsar's Sikh heritage.

Continue to Bibeksar Sarovar, another of Amritsar's five historic sarovars. The SGPC dates Bibeksar to 1628, and the site is associated with Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji, the sixth Sikh Guru. Gurdwara Bibeksar Sahib, situated beside the sarovar, commemorates this historic site.

Complete your Five Sarovar Darshan in Amritsar and return to the hotel in the evening.
